Pierre is the President of MacNeal Hospital. He is joining the CHEF Executive Board as the Director of Membership and Advancement.
What is your "why" for getting into healthcare?
My "why" for pursuing a career in healthcare is rooted in my passion for working with diverse teams and my unwavering commitment to fighting for the underserved and underrepresented communities. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the disparities in access to healthcare and the impact it had on vulnerable populations. This ignited a fire within me to become a catalyst for change, to bridge the gaps, and to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, has equitable access to quality healthcare.
What is your favorite part of being in CHEF?
I truly enjoy the opportunity to build connections with so many talented professionals to share ideas, best practice and support each other. CHEF offers amazing educational resources that have been beneficial to my leadership journey.
What is a fun fact that people might not know about you?
I enjoy traveling internationally. I have been to over 10 countries, and I hope to add many more soon.
